As you may be aware, Online Therapy Institute has offered coach training for at least a decade. DeeAnna and Kate have both served as faculty at The Institute for Life Coach Training where many short courses are still taught, including a 5 hour course, Introduction to Online Coaching. Our short courses offered through ILCT fulfill elective and continuing education requirements put forth by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
In 2011 we began offering a course that satisfied the educational requirements for the Center for Credentialing and Education’s (CCE) Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential.
What’s Changed
After a decade, we are opting not to renew our provider status with CCE so that we may concentrate on coach training for the larger international community. Frankly, while the BCC is open to people across the globe, the process and the training is very US-centric.
The 200-hour course, Intuitive Wellness Coach Practitioner, remains with a few changes. No longer will the course include Reiki training and the course no longer requires a long list of text books. The course focuses on ethics, distant methods of delivery, coach theory and the integration of alternative modalities into the coach practice.
This course also continues to satisfy the educational requirements for the International Association of Health Coaches (IAHC)’ credential, Certified International Health Coach (CIHC).
What’s New
DeeAnna is now focusing on additional efforts and is working on a book and course entitled Essential Soul Care. This course include Reiki training for a digital age. If you are curious check out the link and/or sign up for updates HERE.
