June brought a spotlight that I am proud to share (read the spotlight HERE). I was recently the featured credential holder of the month at Center for Credentialing and Education in the US. I have been an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) for 15 years and while I no longer conduct clinical supervision I love teaching this topicI If you are looking for a course on clinical supervision or you are working toward the ACS credential and need the qualifying education, I can help.
I have been offering courses that fulfill the educational requirements for the Approved Clinical Supervisor credential for over 10 years. The CCE Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) Program includes a credential that identifies those mental health professionals who have met national professional supervision standards. The ACS promotes the clinical supervisor’s professional identity, visibility, and accountability and encourages professional growth. Fifteen states recognize the ACS as a supervision credential of choice.
- New Jersey
- Rhode Island
- South Dakota
United Kingdom and Canada
The course has been updated to suit a more global audience and the Clinical Supervision Specialist Certificate also satisfies the requirements set forth by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In addition, this course meets the minimum educational standard to which Counsellor Supervisors should be trained as put forth by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy BACP Counselling Supervision Training Curriculum.
