During this introductory course, you will learn about the basics of creative keyboarding and its use in communicating therapeutically with clients. We will review the basics regarding creative keyboarding and netiquette and then consider the nuances of chat room communication. A chat room therapy session will be viewed and analyzed.

Participants will be able to prepare for a chat session using appropriate “net lingo.”

Participants will analyse a chat transcript and be able to describe similarities between in-person and chat therapy.
