Programme Details

• Each certificate comprises 40 hours of learning (CE/CPD credits available) including experiential exercises.
• Fast Track, Jump Start or Self-Paced Enrollment Options
• The course materials are a dynamic multi-media range of downloadable .pdfs, audio lectures/presentations, videos, and set readings via hyperlink online or from the two required textbooks. These materials include experiential exercises such as taking part in online communication platforms and experiencing cyberspace to immerse oneself in the world it is more and more likely online clients experience.
• Trainees will be supplied with an editable workbook to complete written exercises throughout the course. They will be required to use critical thinking skills and discuss application of the knowledge learned in a reflective and reflexive manner.
• Expert facilitators will be available to trainees as they go through the course for support.
• Trainees are required to participate in the Online Therapy Institute Consultation and Business Forum. Initially they will participate in the Certificate Programme Trainee discussion boards. Upon successful completion of the Certificate Programme, trainees will be given a full year’s access to our Clinical Issues discussion board which is exclusive to Certificate Programme graduates.Upon completion, graduates will also have access to the Business Matters discussion board as well.
• Upon completion, Certificate Programme graduates with a website will be listed in the Online Therapy Institute’s Directory.
• Tests are given at the end of each module, with a pass mark of 75%. On successful passing of the entire training and subject to a live examination with two facilitators, trainees can use the Online Therapy Institute certificate seal of training for use on websites to indicate they have passed extensive training as an online therapist.
