We utilize our forum for training, supervision and consultation purposes. If you have been assigned a login you can access the Forum here.
The Forum is available to individuals who have completed an Online Therapy Institute Certificate Programme and who are practicing independently or are under supervision.
OTI Forum Subscription Information
- Kate Anthony and DeeAnna Merz Nagel moderate the OTI Forum, answering questions and commenting on discussions.
- The OTI Forum is encrypted and HIPAA compliant.
- The OTI Forum is available as a monthly subscription at a cost of $25.00 per month
- A reduced fee of $275.00 paid for a full year is also available, giving one month free.
- Your subscription is automatically renewed.
- Once you subscribe, a user name and password will be assigned to you.

The Forum offers two Discussion topics:
Clinical
The clinical discussion board is for issues regarding the use of distance technology with clients (phone, video, chat, email, virtual worlds, bulletin boards). This discussion board is only available to clinicians who have completed an OTI Certificate Programme.
Business
This discussion board is for business matters regarding implementation of distance technology services and ongoing support.
We understand the helping professional’s need to discuss case consultation within a secure environment. We also promote best practice in the field of counseling and supervision. Providing the best standard of care to our clients means taking extra precautions like encryption even when staffing cases that remove names and locations.
Links can be copied and pasted from most standard discussion boards and forums leaving practitioners and their clients vulnerable. Our forum requests a login should a link be pasted elsewhere outside the forum. No one will be able to see the information. The forum is hosted using a Secure Socket Layer just as when credit card information is taken for payment of products and services online. Practitioners are expected to “blind” the case, removing all identifiable information. This step along with the encryption and security of the Forum aids in maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
