Does Online Therapy Work?

There have been several recent studies that indicate distance therapy works and here are media articles that summarize the findings.

Azy Barak, PhD conducted  A Comprehensive Review and a Meta-Analysis of the Effectiveness of Internet-Based Psychotherapeutic Interventions .  This meta-analysis combined all of the studies involving internet-based psychotherapeutic interventions (9764 clients) up to the year 2007. The outcome indicated that internet based interventions were just as effective as face-to-face interventions.
